Michelle offers transparent and compassionate ABA and tutoring services tailored to the client's specific needs and competency level. Her therapy sessions are characterized by a compassionate, evidence-based approach to inspire collaboration.
Michelle Pedersen has worked with children throughout her adult life. She earned her BA in elementary education in 1997. In 2009, Michelle earned her MS in special education. Between 1997 and 2010, Michelle taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th grade, 6-8 th science and social studies, and K-8 grades art in
many school settings, including parochial, public, and charter schools.
In 2011, Michelle opened a Kumon Math and Reading Center where children aged 2-20 were taught all the fundamentals of reading, language arts, and mathematics. Students worked at their ability level, not necessarily their grade level, and were closely monitored to ensure they were being challenged
academically. After closing the center in 2017, Michelle and her family moved to Florida. At this point, Michell changed careers from teaching to applied behavior analysis. She was hired as a registered behavior technician and worked with children with autism and other developmental diagnoses. In 2020, Michelle completed her certificate program in behavior analysis at Florida Institute of Technology and, in August of that year, passed the national exam, becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Since then, she has helped children as young as three and as old as 19, including her son, live and function successfully at home, school, and in the community.
Michelle and her family relocated from Stuttgart, Germany to USA as of September 2025.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an autism therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. ABA therapy applies one's understanding of how behavior works in real situations. The autism services aim to increase meaningful behaviors and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. The ultimate goal of autism treatment is to induce meaningful change and improve the individuals' quality of life. The ABA intervention program is written to meet the needs of the individual client. Andrea worked with a wide array of clientele with a diverse background in ABA.
